We Believe in Katie, Inc., is a nonprofit organization that seeks to honor Katie Udelhofen-Clark's young life tragically cut short after a yearlong battle with leukemia. The goal of their work is to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer research, support Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and provide scholarships for high school seniors. These causes reflect the strength and dignity Katie so bravely exhibited throughout her year-long struggle with cancer and the values and principles she strove to live by.

Old school listening room! If you like intimate concert situations this show is for you. This grass-roots folk music club meets weekly in the Wil-Mar Comminity Center, beautifully redocorated a couple of years ago with a nice stage. They'll have coffees and teas and usually some home-baked goodies for small fee. Round table seating, comfortable volume. There is a small fee for admission that covers rent; performers play for donations (cash or online via PayPal).

Sjogren's is a serious, systemic autoimmune disease where the body's immune system is overactive and attacks the moisture producing glands throughout the body. This disease highly impacts the person's quality of life because of significant chronic pain and exhaustion, and organ damage. It can affect the skin, lungs, kidney, GI system, nervous system, vascular system and eyes and mouth. Donations are 100% tax deductible; all funds raised support the Sjogren's Foundation, a 501c3 organization offering patient and provider education, advocacy for patients at the local and governmental level, and funding for targeted research into Sjogren's including clinical trials for treatments. Garver Feed Mill is an award-winning turn-of-the-century building on Madisons' near East Side (behind Olbrich Gardens) that is home to a collection of producers, artisan food makers, wellness studios and hospitality providers.
